Manager Public Affairs (m/w/d)


As Manager Public Affairs, in close cooperation with the General Counsel, colleagues and external parties you will be responsible to further shape and implement our public affairs strategy in seven countries.

The Manager Public Affairs will be based in Venlo.

Your responsibilities

  • Collect and report intelligence: monitor policy makers, legislative environment and debated changes and act proactively at relevant levels
  • Working together with external public affairs consultants
  • Collaboration in cross-divisional and company-relevant projects
  • Advise on and develop advocacy plans on priority policy issues in collaboration with the General Counsel, as well as the development of deliverables (e.g. presentations and position papers)
  • Engagement with policy makers: develop partnerships and maintain regular contacts with policy makers and their influencers

Required Qualifications

  • University degree in law, economics, politics, administrative science or a comparable degree
  • At least 3-5 years professional experience in public affairs
  • Strong project management skills with oversight experience in internal and external projects are necessary
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills are essential
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Fluency in English and German, preferably also Dutch. Language Skills in French and/or Italian are advantageous
