SHOP APOTHEKE was honored with several more awards and strong survey rankings following the company’s win of three 2019/2020 Webshop Awards and first place in the 2020 Email Marketing Benchmarks survey.
For the eighth time in a row, Germany’s SHOP APOTHEKE achieved excellent ratings in the renowned pharmacy market study by market research institute SEMPORA. In the period from February to March 2020, 40 decision-makers from manufacturing pharmaceutical companies, 135 pharmacists and 1,164 consumers were interviewed for the survey. 47% of those questioned said they knew SHOP APOTHEKE, around 12% more than in the previous year. With a grade of 2.0 in overall performance, SHOP APOTHEKE and Medpex took first place ahead of their direct competitors DocMorris and Apotal.
“Excellent” price-performance ratio.
SHOP APOTHEKE again secured a top position in the annual price-performance ratio ranking of market research institute YouGov and the business newspaper Handelsblatt. Based on customer surveys, SHOP APOTHEKE was once more awarded the “Excellent” label and came third in the “Retail Specialists” category - ahead of its direct competitors Medpex and Apotal.
The ranking is based on YouGov’s brand index, which analyzes the results of several thousand consumer interviews in 37 categories. The survey focuses on the extent to which a brand lives up to its promise of performance.
Price Champion 2020:
SHOP APOTHEKE was furthermore awarded the gold medal in the “Price Champion” category in a study conducted by DIE WELT newspaper in cooperation with ServiceValue. In the survey, consumers rated over 2,500 brands and companies from more than 250 sectors in regard to pricing.
Top Shop 2020.
A total of 6,512 online shops were evaluated for the seventh edition of the Top Shop Seals conducted by Statista and COMPUTER BILD magazine with SHOP APOTHEKE earning the renowned “Top Shop” seal of quality. 79 individual tests on criteria such as “trust & security”, “service & communication” and “purchase and delivery” were analyzed to determine the results, e.g. the time it took until test e-mails were responded to or the structure and clarity of a website based on customer surveys. SHOP APOTHEKE was able to convince consumers being rated “Very Good” in the “Medications” category. This enabled SHOP APOTHEKE to receive the “Top Shop 2020” seal of quality.
A survey conducted by BILD newspaper and Service Value identified Germans’ favorite businesses in 155 sectors; a total of 1,665 manufacturers, dealers and service providers were evaluated. In the online survey, customers assessed their overall satisfaction in categories including price, products and brand. SHOP APOTHEKE ranked second place in the “Mail Order Pharmacies” category, ahead of its direct competitors Medpex, DocMorris and Apo-rot.
